Sharing the Awe of Nature: A Dream Up Branding Case Study

Updated: Nov 11, 2021

THE CHALLENGE: The Religious Naturalist Association, a 7-year-old organization dedicated to finding intellectual and spiritual fulfillment in the awe and science of nature, selected Dream Up Consulting to develop a Brand Communication Plan that would increase awareness and membership.

THE SOLUTION: The Dream Up Branding Discovery Process helped the association clarify and simplify its core message and unique value proposition. The plan also included extensive research to better understand and reach their target audience including social media and partnership opportunities to build awareness of RNA.

Given the structure of the association, Dream Up’s plan delivered, clear step-by-step instructions that a volunteer organization with little marketing experience could follow.

THE RESULT: The clarity and insights in the Dream Up Communication Plan has reinvigorated the organization’s leadership and rekindled their optimism. Following the plan's action steps, they immediately began efforts to sharpen their communication efforts.

DREAM UP SERVICES:

  • Communications Audit and Recommendations

  • Brainstorm Facilitation with Group Leaders

  • Revised Group Vision Statement

  • Research on Nature Lover's Market Segment

  • Identification and Prioritization of Potential Organizational Partners

  • Identification of Social Media Opportunities

  • Social Media 101: The Basics

  • Step-by-Step Communication Action Plan

"When the Religious Naturalist Association was looking to grow and enhance what we offer, Joey Baron provided exactly what we needed. He combined strong professional skills and perspectives with an ability to adapt these to the particular niche and needs of a committed, opinionated group."

- Todd Macalister, RNA Director of Communications

"Joey Baron delivered far more than what I expected when he was selected to be RNA's marketing consultant. Beyond developing a dynamic, practical communications plan, Joey looked deeply into our association and shared wisdom about substantial organizational issues in a way that was easily understandable, completely constructive and very rarely critical."

- Dr. Jason Keune, RNA Communications Committee
